Cruden Gorse. Named for the Aberdeenshire links where the gorse runs thick through the dunes above a wild stretch of coast. An earthy, khaki green, the colour of the bush rather than the flower, and the easiest thing to wear against an autumn course.

The Waterproof Quarter-Zip

A lightweight jacket for when the weather turns. It keeps the rain out through steady showers, the seams are sealed, and it breathes well enough to stay on rather than come off at the turn. Cut straight and easy, with a hood, zipped pockets and a drawcord hem. Light enough to live in the bag, and good enough to leave on.
