Founded in Glasgow, 1883
DJ Murray began on a tailor's table in Glasgow in 1883. The house was founded by David and James Murray, whose initials the brand still carries, and built on a belief that has never gone out of fashion: that things should be made properly, or not at all.
For more than 140 years the Murray name has stood for craftsmanship and quality, passed down and refined through the generations. The world has changed a great deal since 1883. The standards have not.
Today the brand makes golf apparel, with tailoring still at its heart. Every garment carries the eye of the house it came from, in the cut, the collar and the care taken over the smallest details. Golf is our inspiration and a game we love, and the clothing is made to honour its traditions while sitting easily in the life around it.
