A good towel is one of those quiet things a golfer never thinks about until they have a poor one. Ours is woven in a waffle cloth, the open texture that lifts mud and sand off a clubface rather than smearing it about, holds plenty of water and dries quickly between holes. A steel clip holds it to the bag and stays put, whatever the round throws at it.
Finished properly, made to hang on the bag all season, and to still be doing the job long after the season is out.
- Berwick Navy. Named for North Berwick, the deep water of the Firth of Forth and the working harbour beside the old links.
- Prestwick White. Named for Prestwick, the birthplace of The Open in 1860, clean as a championship morning.
- Troon Rose. Named for the Ayrshire links on the Firth of Clyde, a soft, considered rose.
