The Quarter-Zip Knit
A merino blend midlayer, and the most useful thing in a winter wardrobe. Merino does what no synthetic quite manages: warm without weight, breathable when the walk heats you up, and it holds its shape and its freshness round after round. Knitted with enough give to swing in, finished with a quarter zip at the neck and a small embroidery at the chest. Smart enough for the clubhouse, and good for a great deal more than golf.
Ailsa Blue, with tonal embroidery. Named for Turnberry, the Ayrshire coast with its white lighthouse and Ailsa Craig out in the Firth of Clyde. A pale, open blue, worked tone on tone.
